Paul Fairlie, Ph.D., is president and CEO of Paul Fairlie Consulting, with over 20 years of experience in organizational, market, and opinion research and consulting. He is also an adjunct professor in the School of Human Resource Management at York University. His primary areas of expertise include individual and organizational assessment through testing, 360° feedback surveys, structured interviews, assessment centres, organizational research, and employee surveys, including his proprietary Positive Work Inventory® (PWI). Paul's approach to organizations is highly informed by evidence-based positive organizational psychology.
Joanna Kraft, Ph.D., strives to make the workplace a more productive and enjoyable place, for both employees and employers. Overall, her goal is to help employers select, develop, and engage the highest quality of employees. She is an Organizational Psychology Consultant with SPB Organizational Psychology and conducts managerial level full-day psychometric assessments for both selection and development purposes. Her work also involves helping clients through organizational change initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions. She is also heavily involved in the training and certification process for the Hogan Suite of Assessments.
Hazel Wheldon, M.A., is the President and Chief Operating Officer of MHS, Inc., a privately held publishing company specializing in the development and distribution of psychological assessments. These assessments help to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities around the world. MHS, with its global presence, has translated their assessments into more than 50 languages and are sold in more than 100 countries.
David Anderson, MBA, Ph.D., ICD.D, MIoD, FCIS, is the founder of The Anderson Leadership Group and The Anderson Governance Group, two complementary advisory firms serving an international clientele of corporate leaders. He serves as board and CEO advisor for public, crown and private organizations, including some of the world’s most respected financial institutions based in Canada.
Dr. Richard Davis, Ph.D., is President/CEO of Kilberry Leadership Advisors, a firm of I/O psychologists that provides assessment and development services to investors, CEO's, and key corporate leaders. Using psychological insight and business experience, he helps companies create value by developing extraordinary leadership, hiring the right people, backing the right management teams, and navigating through periods of leadership transition.
Paul Van Katwyk, Ph.D., is a Senior Partner at Korn/Ferry International based in the Toronto office. His professional experience includes more than twenty five years of delivering a range of services, including assessment, coaching, training, and consulting around the development of talent management solutions.
Roula Shimaly, LLB, MBA, joined Deloitte’s Toronto office in 2004. She is an experienced leader in business transformations that address organization and talent objectives. She has worked on several strategic initiatives including performance management, leadership development and succession planning, technical and business transformation programs. Most recently, Roula lead a top-tier global organization in implementing talent programs including performance management program design and global succession programs from initial design to implementation.
Jamie Gruman, Ph.D., has taught in the Psychology Department and the Department of Management at the University of Toronto, in the Psychology Department and the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor, and is currently an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour in the Department of Management at the University of Guelph. He has also served as an adjunct professor in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo, and is a founding member and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association.
Mary Legakis Engel, MBA is The Management Coach and a recognized speaker, coach, consultant and business executive. She has worked closely with managers and leaders across all industries, and has extensive experience working with global brands, public and private companies, start-ups and family-owned businesses across North America.
Omar Ganai is the Head of Coaching Success at Habitry, Co., where our mission is to “help the most people help the most people.” He is the creator of the Essentials of Habit-Coaching program and teaches hundreds of coaches every year on how to use evidence-based methods to create communities of change. Omar has a M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo and (in)famously quit his Ph.D. program twice.
